Women-only Service: please note that our treatments and services are designed to cater solely for women.

Your Right To Cancel: the following terms apply to all appointments made for Monday to Sunday with a value up to £74.99:

  • At least 24 hours notice is requested if you need to cancel, or, change your appointment, otherwise the late cancellation costs as laid out below will be charged.

  • Cancellation, or, change of treatment times: if you fail to show for the appointment, your treatment(s) will be charged at full cost. If part of a booking is cancelled, or, changed after arrival, the full cost of the treatment(s) as booked will remain payable upon departure.

  • As we are unable to judge reasons for change, cancellation,or, non-arrival, clients are reminded that no exceptions to the above conditions will be made and that any booking made with the salon (verbal or written) forms a legally binding contract.

  • How To Cancel Or Change Your Appointment: cancellations should be made by telephoning us on (01438) 746452. If you are cancelling outside of normal salon operating hours – you may cancel by email but this should be followed up by telephone during salon operating hours. If you have an email address registered with us, you will receive an email confirming your cancellation

Your Right To Cancel: the following terms apply to all appointments made for Monday to Sunday with a value at or over £75:

  • Applies to single or group bookings: a minimum of 24 hours notice is required – otherwise the late cancellation costs as laid out below will be charged.

  • Cancellation or change of treatment times: if you fail to show for the appointment, your treatment(s) will be charged at full cost. If part of a booking is cancelled, or, changed after arrival, the full cost of the treatment(s) as booked will remain payable upon departure.Refer to “How to cancel or change your appointment” above.

Gift Vouchers:

  • Gift vouchers can be purchased in multiples of £1, £5 and £10 for specific treatments, or, products.

  • The vouchers are non-refundable and may be used for services or products.

  • Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred.

  • Your name, address and phone number must be quoted at the time of booking and the voucher handed to the therapist at the start of your treatment.

  • You are not under obligation to use the full value of your vouchers during one session.

  • Late cancellation and “failure to show” terms as laid out above also apply to gift vouchers – which will be voided at the salon should you fail to give the required notice.

  • Please check required notice periods based on the value of the booked treatment(s).

Special Offers & Promos:

  • We may offer special offers/promos on a select number of treatments throughout the year.

  • Offers will vary and will either be available at both our Stevenage and Hitchin salon or exclusive to one salon.

  • Stevenage exclusive offers will only be to registered customers from eligible post codes within Stevenage, St Albans, Welwyn, Welwyn Garden City, Knebworth, Hertford, Walkern, Ware and Watton at Stone.

  • Hitchin exclusive offers will only be to registered customers from eligible post codes within Letchworth, Baldock, Biggleswade, Arlesey, Luton, Stotfold, Royston, Shefford, Langford, Barton-le-Clay, Ickleford and St Ippolyts.

Our Right To Cancel:

  • In unusual circumstances we may need to cancel your booking. In the event that we cannot fulfil your appointment, we will contact you by telephone – where possible.

Our Rights: we reserve the right to:

  • Modify or withdraw, temporarily, or, permanently, this website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you, or, any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the website.

  • Change the conditions from time-to-time and your continued use of the website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change.

  • It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the conditions have been changed.

  • If you do not agree to any change to the conditions then you must immediately stop using the website and/or our services.

  • To refuse service to anyone without assigning any reason.

Appointment Bookings:

  • To book an appointment call (01438) 746452 (Stevenage Salon), 07354870887 (Hitchin Salon).

  • Please note appointments can only be booked over the phone. We would kindly ask that you respect this rule (as our salons are home-based) and refrain from visiting our premises without booking an appointment, as we will not be able to offer our services.

Refunds:

  • We do not offer refunds for any completed services. However if you are in any way dissatisfied with any aspect of your experience, please contact us. We will try our utmost to resolve any problems.

Your Data:

  • Your File: you agree that your personal record can be held by the salon, updated with your full contact details – which will enable us to contact you in the event of any change relating to your appointments.

  • Where possible, please provide both landline and mobile telephone numbers.

Children:

  • Please note that we are unable to accommodate children under 12, unless supervised by an adult during a treatment session. Our Hitchin Salon currently cannot accommodate children/additional visitors.

Car Parking:

  • Stevenage: we are located in a single´yellow line zone, which restricts parking from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday. Please ensure that you park on our driveway in order to avoid paying any parking penalty.

  • Hitchin: we are located in a restriction-free zone. You are welcome to park on our single-driveway located to the rear of our premises. In the event that the driveway is occupied, we request that you park in a location that is respectful to our neighbours and local traffic.

Payment:

  • We only accept cash, debit cards, credit cards, cheques and PayPal (LED and Micro-needling packages only).

  • Payment via PayPal Credit, PayPal/PayPal Express is subject to your eligibility in accordance with PayPal’s terms and conditions.

    • Any late fees or penalties associated with missed payments for PayPal Credit or Pay in 3/Express agreements are the responsibility of the client and must be discussed directly with PayPal customer support.

  • All prices are VAT free (as we do not currently charge VAT)

  • The total cost of your booking, or, product purchase is the price as set out on this website; you confirm that the cash, credit/debit cards, PayPal account or, cheques, that are being used as payment are your own.

Online Account:

  • An online account will be required for all customers wishing to purchase LED or Micro-needling packages via PayPal/PayPal Credit/PayPal Express.

  • All names , email address and home address are securely stored inline with our Privacy Policy.

  • Prior to making an online purchase for our packages you must:

    • Arrange a consultation with either of our therapists to ensure the services we will be provided are right for you.

    • Have arranged a booking.

    • Register with PayPal and PayPal Credit.

  • Failure to arrange a consultation and booking prior to completing a purchase will result in a refund being issued which is subject to a 20% processing and administration charge from the total value of your order.

Punctuality & Courtesy:

  • As a courtesy to other clients, late arrivals will result in a reduction of treatment time.

  • We will endeavor to carry out what we can within the time-slot allocated, or, suggest a re-booking.

  • All times stated include preparation of room and client i.e. 5 minutes at the beginning and end of treatment.

Consultation:

  • We are aware that some of our clients may be unclear as to which treatment best suits their specific requirements.

  • We are pleased to offer you up-to-date information and advice with a complimentary consultation in the strictest of confidence.

  • Please allow 10 minutes prior to your first appointment for a consultation with our fully qualified therapist.

Hygiene:

  • Salon hygiene is of the utmost importance and to achieve optimal cleanliness all our sterilisation equipment is approved by the local Hertfordshire Environmental Health Officer.

Official Stockists:

  • Salon Beautec is an officially appointed stockist of Dermalogica products.

General Treatment Advice:

  • Please allow at least 1 hour to digest your meals before having treatments.

  • Alcohol: please do not consume alcohol before any treatment.

  • Medical Conditions: if you have any of the following it is essential to tell your therapist before your treatment as some electrical treatments are prohibited if you suffer from these conditions:

    • Pacemaker

    • Heart Condition

    • Diabetes

    • Allergies

    • Epilepsy

    • Contact Lenses

    • Pregnancy

    • Metal Plates / Pins / Coil

Waxing:

  • Please do not have heat treatments or undertake exercise (e.g. sauna, sunbed, Jacuzzi, workout, or swim etc.) less than 8 hours before or 24 hours after your wax.

  • Please avoid wearing “Best” underwear for Bikini wax.

  • Please avoid normal deodorants after under arm wax. We can supply you with sensitive deodorants to use 3 days after your wax.
